Do you install the light fixtures and ceiling fans that you sell?

Many of our products come with installation instructions. In the event that you don't want to install it yourself, we recommend a reputable electrician or we can have our own service manager do the installation for you.

What do I do if I purchase a light fixture or ceiling fan, and have it installed, and it doesn't work or stops working?

The Lantern House has a one-year limited warranty on all light fixtures; however, many of the ceiling fans come with anywhere to a 5 year to a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty. In the unlikely event a ceiling fan or light fixture is defective you can return the item to us for replacement or refund. We do, however, offer unsurpassed service on all products we sell. I have seen a light fixture at my local home improvement store that I like for my dining room. Can I purchase the same fixture from you?

Probably. We are a distributor for the major lighting lines. If we do not carry the brand that you have seen, we will have one that is very similar. Remember that quality is what you are looking for... and generally fixtures at home improvement stores are of lesser quality and may not be available the next time you go in, so always compare.

We provide this type of service if you need it. We employ a full time service technician to handle all our store needs.

Yes we can... We have Residential Lighting Professionals who have been doing this for over 30 plus years. If you make your selections from The Lantern House... you have the opportunity to opt for our 5 year service agreement.

What if I want to use your services when building my house, but not make my selections from The Lantern House... can I still use your service?

Yes, you can.... we charge a minimum $200.00 upfront service fee for our professional services plus $50.00 an hour after the first 2 hours. This amount will be credited to your order if you choose to make all your selections from us.
